Movie #100!

The story isn't very original, and at 10+ years after the original, this is almost as much a remake as it is a sequel. But the spectacle of the amazing graphics to actually make underwater glass look lifelike was very impressive.

James Cameron clearly wanted to make a nature documentary and got stuck making this instead. Great visuals paired with sloppy story telling. Some scenes felt like the actors took one take and went with it. Some character traits decisions made no sense and distracted from the movie. Ultimately nothing beats 2 hours of documentary footage before the conflict is really introduced.
