A result of splitting one book into two, the pacing of the movie is all over the place, characters don't really develop. Main players in the movie hardly interact together making the whole thing seem disjointed and without payout. Would have been cool to have seen more than 35 seconds of the final battle scene that the entire movie was leading up to but I guess they thought a fight scene in an action scifi movie wouldn't be a good call. Promises way too much thought the entire movie that it never pays off.
