A clever movie with solid entertainment value. The story felt fairly fresh for a classic mystery, and it was pleasant that it stood alone rather than forcing sequel references. For such a small group of characters, it was interesting that there was a clear difference in depth. In some parts it felt almost Clue-esq in that the specific characters themselves hardly mattered. A heavy use of flashbacks made for an oddly heavy-handed story telling structure. Ultimately none of this detracted from a fun, smart, and solid showing.

A regular whodidit, this mystery keeps us on edge through the penultimate revelation.
