This is just the right combination of action/adventure + comedy + movie-based-on-ride + why-is-the-rock-in-this for me.

Add some strong female protagonist, a gay sidekick, and more puns than you can sink a boat at, and what's not to love?

While not quite as clever as the actual ride, the movie had its moments. The plot was occasionally flimsy, but the characters and humor smoothed that over. Overall it made for a fun viewing experience.
