I thought the story was interesting and overall the movie was fairly entertaining, but sort of like Licorice Pizza, a lot of relationships weren't really developed, so we didn't necessarily have an interest in the characters. I do think I'll try out praying again, though.

A fine drama with the good and the bad that frequently plagues the genre. Many parts felt slow. Some characters were unbearable. A few interactions seemed forced. A nice reprieve from the overdramatized drama-documentary since it had reasonable acting and no hero syndrom. Interestingly while the movie seemed to deliberately avoid overfocusing on the main character, we barely got to know most others.
